Color Memory
One painting a day. See five of its colors, three seconds each, and make them again. Then the painting is revealed.
Each color is named in words, the Hue slider is labeled, and mixing up red and green costs less.
The same painting for everyone, a new one at midnight. Your scores stay in this browser.
About Color Memory
Color Memory is a free daily color game. Each day we take one famous painting and show you five of its colors, three seconds each. You make each color again with three sliders (hue, light and intensity) and see how close you came. At the end, the painting is revealed.
It takes a few minutes, plays in your browser on a phone or a computer, and needs no sign-up. The color-blind friendly mode names each color in words. The paintings come from museums’ open collections, such as The Met and the Art Institute of Chicago.
