Q&A
Short answers to what people often ask about color, and where on My Color Taste to try it.
Color Taste
How do I find my color palette?
Add a few pictures you love, up to 12: screenshots, photos, art, rooms or outfits. Color Taste finds the colors they share and builds your palette from them. It’s free, and your images never leave your device.
What’s my aesthetic?
Your aesthetic shows in what you save. Add the pictures you keep coming back to in Color Taste, and we show the colors, mood and contrasts they have in common, in words and swatches.
How do I find my personal style?
Start with color, the easiest part of a style to see. Add outfits, rooms or art you love to Color Taste, and we show which colors you lean towards and how to wear or use them together.
What colors go together?
Colors that share something: a similar lightness, a similar mood, or opposites on the color wheel used in small amounts. Color Taste builds palettes from your own colors, and our guide to complementary colors explains the rest.
